Without a concern for others we are lost. Lost to ourselves, lost to our loved
ones, our children and face a loss of
our country. Without the desire or
ability to help, encourage, lift and comfort one another, we fall. The “we” ceases to exist and we are left
alone to face the dreary world.
Unbearable loneliness, solitary emotional pain, sickness, failure, even
death become ours.
It is time for brotherhood.
It is time to teach it, live it, advertise it, celebrate it. We are so much the same. We have an incredible amount of real love to
give. And each of us is very much
needed. Individual worth is real. We are each needed,
essential, for the health and happiness of those around us. Acting on such a premise, then, is the
essence of power that will save us from ourselves. Without brotherhood we are doomed.
